Meet Claude Cup.
Claude Cup is a playful character who likes to poke fun at the newbies on the course as they attempt to land in his “arms.” Claude Cup works closely with Putter Pete and Frida Flag.
About the Characters
Lizbeth is our hero – a brand-new hot pink golf ball, making her debut on the golf course. Lizbeth is very inquisitive as she learns the game of golf from many animated characters she meets on the course. She has a strong relationship with JoJo, a talented junior golfer, and Lizbeth wants to be of service to her. Lizbeth embraces new situations and develops friendships with others who help her even when her adventures hold surprises.
What Readers are Saying
“Golf is a game with friends. Most of my lasting friendships have been forged or complemented because of the game. The ability to be with friends playing a game outdoors for your lifetime is so much a part of golf.“
Dave W., an avid golfer
“I am not a golfer, but if this book were read to me or I read this book, ‘Lizbeth’ would have sparked my interest to try golf. ‘JoJo’ shows a passion for the game, which motivates her to practice and improve her skills. And I loved the questions that ‘Lizbeth’ asks, this was perfect for teaching golf terms in a way that anyone would understand. It was so natural, because this is how children learn, through questions."
Laurie N., former preschool teacher
“I liked the lessons brought forth in this book: patience, friendship, continuous improvement, and never losing hope. As the story unfolds, it is great to see the evolution of Lizbeth becoming more confident as her experiences and the support from her whimsical friends shape her attitude.”
Mike N., golf enthusiast and grandparent
